Finding AI questions and answers to clipboard. Is there an internal clipboard (not 3rd party) where I can store and find my info copied

Do iPads come with an internal clipboard where info can be stored and retrieved? I am on an iPad Pro recently bought. I have been saving AI answers to questions and essays to clipboard. I get a window notice saying my info was saved to “clipboard” but I can’t find it in app search, systems etc. How do I access this info? Do I need a third party app for simple saves and retrievals? Is is different on iPhone and Mac?

iPad Pro, iPadOS 17

iPads and iPhones do not have an app for clipboard.

There is a clipboard that you can copy something to

and then paste that content elsewhere. Only one item

is stored at a time. Copying a second item overwrites

the contents of the clipboard.

You can copy and paste, but you cannot access the

clipboard directly.

If you wish to save multiple items, copy the first and then

paste it into a document/note. Copy the second item

and paste that into the same document/note. Continue

until through. You can cut/copy individual items from

the document/note to paste into other documents.

There are apps in the app store that claim to offer

a clipboard history. Read the reviews and make your

choice if so desired.

If this is not what you are asking, provide more details

so someone may offer a solution.

The iPad clipboard is merely a temporary location for text (or objects) that you “cut” or “copy”. When you “paste”, the last item copied to the clipboard is pasted to the chosen location.

The iOS/iPadOS clipboard is not of itself an accessible location or App - neither does it maintain any kind of history that can be reviewed or edited.

To copy to the clipboard, highlight the text passage, image or object; from the menu, select Copy.

Having copied the text or other item, you can simply “paste” to someplace else. To paste the current clipboard object, touch-and-hold with your finger to expose an action menu; from the menu, tap Paste.

In addition to the native clipboard, there are third-party Apps that can provide additional functionality, including history. One App that you might consider is Yoink:
