Have been receiving these frequent and annoying messages that my mailbox is 100% full.
As a result I deleted all my emails and messages yet the problem persists. Any help to rectify the situation would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

This might be if you Sylvia g to iCloud! Go to https://www.icloud.com/ and log in to see if the mail app is syncing to much data!
You should check to be sure it is full, but since you didn't mention if it was IMAP or POP or what mail service you are using helping is kind of difficult to help out.
