Manually Added Workouts in Health App No Longer Sync Calories with Fitness App

Hello,

I’ve recently encountered an issue with the Health and Fitness apps that wasn’t present before. In the past, I could manually log a workout in the Health app for a previous day, and the calories burned during that workout would automatically sync and count toward my daily totals in the Fitness app. However, now when I add a workout through the Health app, the workout shows up in my activity, but the calories burned are not counted in my daily totals in the Fitness app.

I’ve tried several troubleshooting steps, including reinstalling the Fitness app, restarting my device, and ensuring that Health and Fitness are both set to share data. Unfortunately, none of these steps have resolved the issue. It appears that the current setup no longer allows manually added workouts in the Health app to impact the calorie totals in the Fitness app, which significantly affects my tracking.

Could you please advise on how to fix this, or consider adjusting this functionality in future updates?

Thank you for your assistance.

Best regards
