Bummer. This is a risk you take, when you buy from "some guy!" Not sure what you're hoping anyone can do for you though? If you can't get your money back, which you likely can't as often its not possible to find the "some guy" again. So, if you can't get your money back, recycle the frankenphone responsibly and learn from this lesson. NEVER buy a used phone from "some guy" again. Only buy an iPhone from a trusted source, like Apple or an Apple Authorized Reseller.

Hi, I ran into that issue with Samsung. What it is is trying to go in and check your copywriting agreement from an iPhone what it is is it might be some type of power shell that’s on there which is running different software, which in some cases is good depending on where you’re located, but if you want to officially know, all you have to do is completely factory reset your phone and then when you’re starting it back up do not enter the same iCloud information or do like a restore and you’ll be able to see then also, you can check always on Apple’s website with the device ID number. Don’t be afraid as long as he’s got the same hardware which if everything is running right, then should be good, but I know how stressful that can be because I went through it.
