Is there a list of apps for Apple TV?
Before I buy an Apple TV to replace my Mac Mini for streaming I would like to know what apps are available.

There is no comprehensive list. There are thousands of apps, but there are also differences by country or region. The availability apps may also change “at any time”, as app developers come and go.
As each app in Apple’s App Stores has its own web page listing, you perhaps could find what you are looking for through a Search Engine, before having access to the Apple TV box. Such pages will list supported devices; check for mentioning ‘Apple TV’. Note that some apps are not available in all countries, so also verify the two-letter country code in the URL, or the country listing at the bottom of the page.
E.g. Netflix, Global TV (CA), Stan (AU), Plex, NBC (US), BBC iPlayer (UK), Spotify, F1 TV, TF1 (FR), etc.
Try searching like:
appname site:apps.apple.com
It may help to search on a browser different from Safari (e.g. Chrome or Firefox), as Safari may try to open the App Store app on your Apple device for such links, instead of showing the web page. While probably meant as helpful, it doesn’t account for app availability differences between devices and between countries, so it may error instead of showing the information that you are looking for. Some apps may not be available on Mac or iPhone or iPad, but are available on Apple TV, or vise versa; and the on-device App Store would reflect that (filter out unavailable apps).

There are thousands available, you should go to your local Apple Store for a demo and then look at the App Store to get a general idea. Also, if you buy (directly from Apple) and are not satisfied for any reason, you have 2 weeks to return the product.
It’s called the AppStore.
alternatively, you can google search for whatever app you’re looking for.
Your thought may be useful, however a list will never be accurate as apps come and go by the hour. However if you may want to suggest it to Apple, you can do so at www.apple.com/feedback.
I'm considering switching from my older Roku Ultra 2020 to the Apple TV 4K, and would like to see if my current Roku-installed apps are available on the Apple TV without searching for each one independently. Would be nice to see the page of apps before buying the device.
rkaufmann87, thank you for the reply. I was vague in my 'page of apps' statement.
I was hoping to be able to see the 'App Store' page that the AppleTV device displays on the device, but possibly from a web page. I can do that on Roku's web site, as well as Google's 'Play Store' and the 'Microsoft Store' web sites. An App Store is a database and would inherently be up to date at the time of access. From what I can tell, I need to have access to a registered device before I can see if any of my dozen or so Roku apps are available on AppleTV.
I appreciate the response.
