Paste Values without Breaking Conditional Formatting

Hi, I have found that if I Cut and paste Values it breaks the conditional formatting on cells that are not even part of the Cut and Paste Values. The cells seem to still have their conditional formatting set but no longer work. In all examples these are cells where there are helper columns specifically for the conditional formatting though they are not cells that have been subject to a Cut and Paste Values.

The helper column formulas are referring to the whole column for example using Max() but I do not see how Pasting Values on to some of the column should break things. In all case my Cut and Paste Values is always a how row.

I need to Paste Values to speed up the calculation as even on my Studio the little calculating thingy sits at the bottom for a few seconds, on my iPad its many seconds and my iPhone it takes quite a while.

When I look at the Conditional Formatting after the Paste Value some of it seems to have shifted and now be pointing to different columns. I did make sure all the hidden columns were unhidden before trying to paste Values.

Any thoughts appreciated.
