How can I send and receive photos, videos and other files in my iPad?

To other nearby Apple devices (Macs, iPads, iPhones) use AirDrop→Use AirDrop on iPad to send items to nearby Apple devices - Apple Support

To non-Apple devices, MMS texting, email or other messaging apps.
