Is your Apple TV turning on after you power it down?

I tried every step I could think of to fix this problem. I did not want to turn off HDMI CEC. Start by closing all apps. If that doesn’t work do a full system restore on the Television. That will fix your problem.

my current one does not do that at all

but hear people who have network issues have that happen to them as it's not fully off when turned off

and if network issues cause it to crash and restart it turns on when it booted up
