outlook stopped synching on my macbook pro after upgrading to Sequoia 15.0.1

Outlook for mac was happily synchronising email accounts up until this upgrade to Sequoia. Since then I have had issues synchronising email accounts. I tried deleting the IMAP accounts and re-adding them. That seemed to work. But I cannot do that with POP accounts. Microsoft support tried assisting by changing the incoming mail port. That worked initially but has again stopped synching. Soooooooo frustrating.

As of about September 20th or so, Microsoft now requires all email clients to use only IMAP along with requiring 0AUTH 2.0 for authentication. Most newer email clients now also support that requirement. You might just need to remove your accounts on your email client then re-add them. Also, If you are using MS Outlook, then make sure you are using the latest version which is currently (as of this writing) at 16.90.
