iPhone XS Max case compatibility with iPhone 11 Pro Max cases

Looking for a case for my xs max. No where local/in person shopping carries them any longer. Im not against ordering online, but just seeing if there's another way.


I was searching online and saw that apparently 11 pro max cases are a compatible fit to use with the xs max due to dimensions being almost identical, but no mentions of how the camera's being different may affect the fit compatibility. But then saw this same question with an answer posted back in 2021 on here, stating that is incorrect and can not use a case made for the 11 pro max with an xs max model. Could someone please provide UTD clarification? Thanks!

However, while the general fit might appear similar, the key issue is with the camera module. The camera setup on the iPhone 11 Pro Max is larger and has a different layout (triple camera vs. dual on the XS Max), meaning cases designed for the 11 Pro Max will have a larger and differently shaped camera cutout. This difference leads to misalignment, and the case won’t properly protect or fit around the XS Max’s camera area.
