In bright light, the oval proximity sensor inside the Dynamic Island on the two iPhone 15 has a different shade: on one it is always black, on the other it has a reddish tint when viewed at an angle. this is not the internal backlight of Face ID, but the surface of the sensor itself. I can't find any information anywhere, has anyone noticed such differences? Is this normal or not? Also the surface of the screen has a different shade when viewed at an angle
Sure, refracted light can be altered if another phone has a very minor difference in the thickness of the glass or the sensor placement is a micron different. Why are you concerned about this? Is something not functioning correctly. I really wouldn't be looking for issues, which aren't issues.
Yes, completely normal and every iPhone with a dynamic island will exhibit this when viewed at a different angle, in different lighting conditions.
Unless your iPhone is exhibiting an issue, you are looking for something, which isn't worth worrying over.

This is especially noticeable if you look at the sensor under an incandescent lamp.
