My apple tv not been working since my new internet server provider gigaclear, talktalk before

Unable to sign into my apple account through my TV and apple TV saying account id and password not recognised even though I know its correct, also cant play films through air play from my iphone through apple TV saying problem loading content.

The unit is functioning fine, power, functions etc so I'm thinking maybe an adjustment to the network setting is needed either with apple TV settings or gigaclear.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Okay, first thing to do is to check the network settings on the Apple TV. Ensure they are correct and up-to-date. If they are and it still will not connect then the first troubleshooting step would be to unplug the Apple TV from its power source for 2-3 minutes, then re-connect and test. If still no luck then I'd try and "forget the network" on the Apple TV's network settings and then manually re-add it.


If that fails, I'd recommend calling AppleCare ( AppleCare Contact Info ) and ask for some additional troubleshooting steps.
