I bought AppleCare today. I wanted to buy the yearly plan but accidentally bought the monthly plan.
Is it possible to change to annual payments in the future? If so, please tell me how.

sberman is correct. If you purchased your phone in the US with an AppleCare plan, it WON'T be valid in Japan, if that is where you live and use the phone. If you have an issue with the phone, you'll need to come back to the US for service. It's NEVER a good idea to buy an iPhone in a country you don't live. If you did this, you'd be best advised to return the phone to Apple for refund and buy the phone when you get back home. If you are unwilling to do that, cancel the AppleCare plan as paying for it would be pretty much a waste of money.
OMG...!! I bought the iPhone in Japan and purchased AppleCare after traveling to the US. (It's an American website) If it's not supported in Japan, there's no point in buying it... For now, I'll only get support while I'm in the US.

I bought an iPhone in Japan, but the Apple Care I bought in the US can't be used in Japan... I'll cancel it when I get to Japan. Thank you for letting me know!!
