Can I see tabs for open Word documents on MacBook Air?

Hi

ive googled this to death but cannot find an answer.

on a Mac air in ms word is there any way you can see tabs in a menu bar with documents you’re working on - rather than command ~ to switch between documents. Just like having window tabs open on the web?

thanks

Tabs in a Finder menu bar, no. In any application you can use the Window menu to see and select from the open documents for that application. You can also use Exposé and Mission Control, the former graphically shows all the open windows from the active app, the latter shows all open windows on the active desktop. I have them set to three-finger gestures on the trackpad (System Settings > Trackpad).
