Apple Watch losing Podcast app

I’ve had Podcasts working on the watch for literally years but since a few days back Podcasts is absent. It’s on the iPhone and all shows are present. Sometimes Podcast appears but it doesn’t sync any shows even left overnight on charge next to the paired iPhone.

any ideas please?

If your Podcast app is missing on your Apple Watch, try these steps:

Restart Both Devices: Power off and on both your iPhone and Apple Watch to refresh their connection.
Reinstall Podcasts: On your iPhone, open the Watch app > My Watch > Podcasts, and make sure it's set to Add Episodes from iPhone. If the app still doesn’t show, try uninstalling and reinstalling the Podcasts app on your iPhone, which should re-sync it to the Watch.
Update Sync Settings: Go to Settings > Podcasts on your iPhone, and ensure Sync Podcasts is turned on. This usually helps restore syncing between the devices.
