My PC (windows 10) does not recognise either my iPad mini 6 or my iPhone 12 Pro

my pc (windows 10) does not recognise either my ipad mini 6 or my iphone 12 pro. I have turned PC off and restarted and checked that updates are up to date. Ditto with either the ipad mini 6 or iphone 12. I have tried to use apple devices app but neither device is showing up, ditto for itunes. They do not show up in the devices listed under my PC.Although when I connect my ipad mini6 to the computer it shows charging and makes a ding sound.

If your iPad or iPhone are not recognised by your computer when connected, try using a different USB port; if your computer has both USB-C and USB Type-A ports, try a Type-A port. Otherwise, this support page should help with troubleshooting connection difficulties:

Probably because windows 🪟 and iOS are totally 💯 different operating systems.
