iPhone 16 Pro taking photos by itself

iPhone 16 Pro running iOS v18.0.1 and connect to CarPlay with the phone sitting in the console. Every time I hit a bump in the road I hear the camera shutter sound. When I stopped the vehicle and looked at Photos I see numerous photos of the console! :-)

anyone else experience this?

Camera shutter sound ? On iPhone 25 Pro , When I want to be discrete while taking a picture,the only way that have found is silence my phone and to turn off the who system sound. But Then my phone doesn’t ring and I can’t hear my text notifications. If I lower the ringer volume the shutter sound still goes off with each picture I take. I think Haptic sounds has somehow is the culprit. What combination of settings do I need to be able to turn off camera shutter sound, and still hear my phone and my ringers and my notifications. Thank you for your help.
