I’m not sure who you are referencing with “Apple team” here, as this is a user-to-user forum. Most are not Apple staff. The folks that do work for Apple only rarely post around here.

have a iPhone 14 Pro Max and I updated to iOS 18.1. I cannot find ANY apple AI features at all. No revamped Siri, no photo smart eraser, no text summaries, nothing. This seems like 18.0 exactly to me. It said it successfully installed 18.1... but I get nothing. Help???

AI features are not available on iPhone 14. AI is only available on iPhone 15 Pro and above.

Read the post just above yours, which clearly points out which models of iPhone can run Apple Intelligence. iPhone 14 Pro Max doesn't qualify.

Your iPhone 7 Plus cannot be updated past iOS 15 (currently 15.8.3), and neither the iPhone 7 Plus hardware nor iOS 15 are supported by Apple Intelligence.

For Apple Intelligence on iPhone, both iOS 18 (currently iOS 18.3.1), and an iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, or any iPhone 16 model including iPhone 16e, are required.

• Where was it purchased?
• Is your language set to English (US)?

Do any of these things apply? If so, you won't see it.

• Device made for China distribution
• Siri language not set to US - English
• Device region not set to US - English

• You may be in the EU where Apple Intelligence won't be available until April 2025.
• Your 16 Pro Max may have been manufactured for the China (China/Macau/Hong Kong) markets. And if it was manufactured those markets, Apple Intelligence won't be available until or IF, it is ever approved there.

You won't get support for any beta software. The only thing that matters on a stable release are:

• The device model
• Models numbers ending in CH/A will not work
• The region of the device
• The language used for Siri/Device

• Make sure your iPhone is updated to the latest version of iOS also only these countries have Apple Intelligence at this moment i believe English (US, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, and South Africa)

@Yangshu127 Which country did you buy the phone?

I fixed it guys. I had to go in the setting and start it. It doesn’t come with it stated. Go to it in your general settings. Glad to be of help. We all have it. lol
