AirPod Pros hearing aid function as a tool to help those without hearing loss understand those with hearing loss

I have dealt with hearing loss my whole life, and I am so excited about the new AirPod pro hearing aid feature. I’ve been using it and it is excellent.

One thing that I have struggled with my whole life is explaining to friends and family what it is like to have hearing loss… because it is so much more than just a lower level of hearing. It’s more like how people with eyesight loss have varied prescriptions, but in terms of hearing.

I would LOVE a feature/tool where I could have others wear the AirPods and hear what life sounds like to me. Pretty much would be a backwards hearing aid, so that others could walk a mile in my shoes.
