Vimeo Record Studio Issues: Poor Image Quality, Recording is Choppy and Audio Not Syncing

Viemo upgraded their recording functionality in summer 2024 with product labelled "Record Studio" (New Product). Prior product, to record laptop screen video / livestream / video calls worked via a Chrome Extension. For me, the New Product has issues: poor image quality (prior version could record 1080p); recordings are choppy, as in the images are jerky; the audio is not syncing. Has anyone, that's using Viemo on a Mac, had similar issues?
