How can I transfer all WhatsApp data to iCloud on my iPhone XR?

The data stored by WhatsApp is currently saved on both the iPhone and iCloud. WhatsApp is listed among the apps backed up on iCloud, but I would like all data to be stored solely on iCloud to free up more space on my device.

iPhone iCloud restore plus android migration Hi all, I have an iPhone which used for all day by day work, and photography, and have android used mainly for whatsapp. now I want to move my whatsapp to iPhone. if I do a backup of iPhone, and after erase step and at beginning of new setting of iPhone I choose the option (move from android) . Is it possible that after this step to restore the former iPhone cloud backup ? If no. if I do a new backup with whatsapp being moved, does the old iPhone cloud backup and new backup merge? So I have everything , and once erasing again I can backup everything .?!!!
