iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2015) slow after Update to Monterey

Hi,

after updating to Monterey to use the latest Adobe apps my iMac became slower. Sometimes when I type on my keyboard it takes a moment before the letter appears. another thing is that when I use for example indesign my display shows weird things like color cliches and in general I have ofter see the previous windows shining through / I can still see it... but when I make a screenshot of this situation you dont see it.

Any idea how to solve it?

Something is wrong with the 1T Samsung 860 QVO.

The Write/Read speed should be up around 480 to 500 MB/s.

It might help to Enable Trim, but you should check the SSD health first.

if that doesn't help, then replace the Samsung SSD with a Crucial, OWC or a PNY SSD. I mentioned the PNY, because I have used PNY SSDs in nearly a dozen Mac's and all are still preforming as expected as we speak.
