iOS Update 18.1 blocking Home WiFi - VPN the culprit

Updated my iPhone 12 this morning and was immediately kicked of or lost my home WiFi connection. Did many of the fixes listed which focus on the iPhone itself and listed in this YouTube video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KbHQpJ8tfA8

None worked. I have Norton 360 on my iPhone, I removed this app as it has caused problems in the past. Removing the app made no difference but I have had problems with the VPN module before as well. Ultimately, I had to manually turn off the VPN from Norton in the VPN section of the iPhone. Once that was done, I have my WiFi back. Hope this saves a few folks the 2.5 hours it took me to get to this point.
