You may be able to resolve it short of this … but this may require you to seek assistance from an Apple Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider to "revive" or "restore" the Mac, with the aid of another Mac running Apple Configurator. (If you do, be sure to back up your Mac before taking it in.)

What happens when you try to upgrade? How much free space is available on your internal storage?
I have 22 GB free space and after about half an hour of loading it shows the below message
Anyone else facing this issue? I am not able to upgrade from 14.5 to 14.7.1 as well.
