Why can't I empty the Trash in Apple Mail on my iPad Air 5th gen with a keystroke (command option shift delete) like on my iMac

I find most simple operations on an iPad cumbersome and wonder why Apple hasn't streamlined them. A simple way to empty the Trash in Apple Mail on my iMac is using the keystroke command+option+shift+delete, but there's no such shortcut on an iPad. I have an iPad Air 5th generation with a Logitech Combo Touch keyboard, but that makes no difference.

Does the Apple Magic Keyboard provide the opportunity for keyboard shortcuts with an iPad?

Because there is no Option or Command key on an iPad, and apparently Logitech doesn’t support it on the keyboard.

To clear the trash open it, tap on Select, then Select All, then Delete.

The Logitech keyboard has all the keys necessary to make the keystroke, but they don’t work the way you’d expect to make the shortcut I described.

So does the Apple Magic Keyboard have the same keystroke as an iMac in emptying the trash in Apple Mail?

Thank you for sharing. I will try that. As for Logitech Mx keys, I’m going to see if I can map the shortcut.
