ANC off button is missing for my AirPods Pro 2 (iOS 18.1)

I just updated to iOS 18.1 and suddenly the ANC off button is missing for my AirPods Pro 2

I tried restarting my phone, but that didn’t help…

Update: After force restarting iPhone 16 and removing the AirPods Pro and re-pairing them, I was now able to see a toggle option in the AirPods settings titled "Off Listening Mode." Once that is switched on the ability to turn off all of the listening modes is again visible.

The ability to turn the different active listening modes off completely has apparently been removed in this update. Transparency mode seems to be the default setting now. I am very unhappy with this change as I do not like the noise allowed in with transparency and adaptive mode, but I also do not want active noise cancelling at times, either. This is especially a problem when I'm listening with only one AirPod at a time. I hope they restore the ability to turn all these modes off. If not, I'll be switching to another brand.
