mouse movement supersizes open window in safari

When using Safari 18.0.1, often my unknown movement with the Apple mouse will supersize the open window. Often the new size will be so large only a quarter of the content will now be visible. I have to click on View, scroll down to Actual Size and select that option to return the window content to the previous normal size. This effect is like Zooming In. I have no idea what small movement of the mouse or particular touch causes this. It is very annoying when I am working with a Safari page. How can I turn this effect off? What mouse action causes this enlargement?

iMac 24″, macOS 14.7

I'm unable to confirm what feature this is, but have a look at System Settings > Accessibility > Zoom. There are options for trackpad gestures that do that, and I believe for the mouse if one is paired.

Meanwhile, you can use Command-zero (⌘0) to return the screen to Actual Size. It's faster than mousing around.

Thanks. I've turned off most of the zooming features in SS. I'll see if that will help, although there was nothing I could discern that specifically addressed my problem of zooming just because of a specific mouse movement. I knew about the key function CZ, and use that when my Safari page zooms off the side of my screen.
