I've noticed that on my M1 iMac, since upgrading to macOS 15.1 (24B83), I'm getting duplicate icons in my Applications folder on the dock. If I change the ordering from sorting by Name to Date Added it fixed it and remains fixed when I change back to Name. The problem is that after rebooting the same issue comes up. See below:

you can try A SafeBoot Start up your Mac in safe mode - Apple Support will sort many anomalies
Login and test. Reboot as normal and test. Caches get rebuilt automatically.
Try changing views and compare your results(?)
