Is there a way to display the iCloud sync status in the menu bar?

Hi!

I know this *used* to be a thing because Google leads me to several pages referring to old Mac OS system settings.

I want to display the iCloud sync status in the menu bar. After a day of working, I put the current project in an iCloud alias on the desktop. Sure, inside that Finder window I can see upload status. But it would be nice to see this on the title bar, so I can browse the interwebs while it is uploading and see when I can turn the Mac off.

Any ideas? Thanks!
