Contacts not appearing on MacBook Pro following update to Sequoia 15.01 and 15.1, but Calendar, Messages and notes do

Contacts not appearing on MacBook Pro following update to Sequoia 15.01 and 15.1, but Calendar, Messages and Notes do appear from iCloud indicating logged into same iCloud account. Contacts, Calendar, Messages and Notes are syncing correctly with iCloud and appear on all iOS devices and MacBook but Contacts do NOT appear on MacBook. However Contacts do appear on MacBook if logged in under a new "test" account. BTW I am not able to create any new contacts on the MacBook after the OS upgrade. I have tried all the trouble shooting steps without success. Why would using a new "Test" login account have Contacts appear on MacBook but not when using my default login account. Calendar, Messages, Notes, Reminders do appear on MacBook for both logins.
