Smart albums and camera model problem

I'm trying to create a smart album with 1 condition being the camera model. There is a drop down list of camera models when building the condition, and my camera model appears on the list (Fujifilm X-T5), but the camera model in the exif data in all my Fujifilm photos is in upper case (FUJIFILM X-T5), so none of my photos matches the condition.

When building the condition, it appears that I cannot type in a camera model (e.g. all uppercase), but can only select from the drop down list. And yes, I have scrolled down through the list and the upper case name does not appear. Oddly, if I set the condition to "Camera Model Starts with F" it still doesn't find the pictures

Is there a way to edit the names in this list (preferred)? Or to edit the camera model in the exif, possibly when importing (less preferred)?

That works for me: If I type Z, I get the Nikon Zs, and if I type Z 8, I get just that camera. If I use z 8, lowercase, I get the same as Z 8. (If I type Z8, with no space, I get nothing.)

This works. Turns out "Fujifilm X-T5" in the drop down list is uneditable, but at the bottom of the list (it's a long list) is "X-T5"

Have you tried "Camera Model > Includes XT-5"?

The Fujifilm part might be the camera make, and the XT-5 the camera model.

The Info is showing the combination of the Camera Make and the model.

When I want to find the photos taken with my Panasonic DMC-FZ300, it suffices to check for FZ300 or DMC-FZ300.

Like Old Toad, I am able to type camera models in for the Smart Album field. But it is rather controlling! I can start typing NIK and it fills in NIKON D100 (apparently someone else's camera.) But I can delete the D100, and it will show all Nikon cameras, or I can add a Z and it will show pictures from both my Z5 and Z8 cameras. But NIKON is always all caps. If I try typing CANON, it becomes Canon. It certainly doesn't have all cameras, so it seems like the list is made from available cameras, as Keith Barkley said.

What happens if you type FUJIFILM X-T5 and then delete some of the end?

I thought that the camera models were populated from the actual images.

Anyway, I suggest you send feedback to Apple, since this appears to be a bug.

When you start the smart album with Camera Model just type in the all caps title of your camera before trying to select any listed model. Like this:

When I try this, either with the caps lock on or the shift key pressed, it auto populates the condition with the lower case name that appears in the drop down list. It lets me type an all-caps name that is not in the drop down list, but as my camera name (in lower case) is in the list, it auto populates with that

Oddly, of the thousand or so photos I've taken with the camera, one has Fujifilm X-T5 as the model, and this is what's in the drop down. It was not the first image I imported into Photos. All the rest of the images have the all-caps name and so don't appear in the smart album. I will try reporting to Apple. Thanks for your response
