I am also a Keeper Password Manager customer. Keeper does inform its users how critical it is to remember that master password. But to your point, it does turn out that Apple’s Password app does have that password retained in my case. It’s under “keepersecurity.com”.

I cannot recall what actions I took to have it saved there. Nor was I even aware it was there until you asked your question. I know how vital it is to remember that password and short of a brain injury I would not forget it.

I intend to keep my Keeper subscription active, even though I respect Apple’s password capabilities. I store things besides passwords like credit card numbers in Keeper.

Keeper does provide a remedy for forgotten master passwords.

Using Keeper’s iPhone app, choose “Need Help?” here.

Then choose “Forget Master Password?” at the bottom.
