My iPhone 16 pro max ios 18.0
since first day (one week old) have asked me more than 5 times sim card PIN number (i am using a physical card)
when i type in, it says wrong pin!! but it is correct
there for i have to restart my iphone
Then it is oke and it ask me once again may be one day later. anybody els having this issue? Please reply.

A new card doesn't mean it's NOT defective. Contact the carrier. Wait...the new iPhone 16/16 Pro are only e-sim. There's no sim card holder. So, either you have an older phone or there's some other malfunction. In any case, start with the carrier.

Before you do anything else, I’d contact your cellular carrier and get a replacement SIM.
If you're using a physcial SIM card then get in touch with your wireless carrier.
Yes this happened to me as well. Using new Pro Max one day and already had to restart device few times while it was asking me for pin or it even didnt finda network saying SIm not detected:(
