Reorder Photos Collections in MacOS Photos App

Hi there.

I like that I may reorder Photos Collections in iOS 18 but I can't find out how to do the same thing in MacOS Sequoia. Is there any option to reorder Photos Collections? I mean just reorder Days, Memories, Trips, Utilities etc in the sidebar.

By default in MacOS 15.1 these Collections are in following order from top to bottom: Days, People & Pets, Memories, Trips, Featured Photos, Utilities, Media Types, Albums, Projects.

But I would like them to be in order like I reordered them on my iPhone: Media Types, Utilities, Days, People & Pets, Albums, Trips, Memories, Featured Photos...

Please is there any option to do that? Thank you.

There is no mention at all in the Photos User Guide for Mac, how we could rearrange the collections in the sidebar. It does not seem to be possible yet. Recently the new goodies are coming first to Photos on the iPhone and iPad, and only later to the Mac. We may have to wait a bit longer until we can rearrange the collections. Currently we can just remove items from the sidebar by closing the disclosure triangle, to hide the albums temporarily, or the Media Kinds, etc.

léonie, thank you very much for the quick answer. That's what I was afraid of. :-( Hopefully (at least for me) the feature will be implemented soon, I have already filled in a feature request. It makes no sense that some (let's say basic) features are only supported on some devices and not cross platform. Have a nice day!
