What should I do if liquid gets in my iPad charger port?

So last night on October 29, 2024 I was in the car and I had three up everywhere and it went inside my charger port in my iPad and now my iPad wouldn't charge so I need help I think I have warranty on this iPad but I benn crying because it's a new ipad and I wasn't expecting this to happen.

Make an appointment at the nearest Apple location to have your iPad evaluated for free.

Once the diagnostics are complete, the staff will explain your options.
