Using Gmail with Google Chrome, freezing and crashing with Error code 5 on new Macbook Pro

I have a new Macbook Pro and using Google Chrome to use Gmail.

Suddenly I am having issues with Gmail freezing and then crashing with Error code 5

Same thing is not happening when using mobile phone or Windows computer

Any suggestions?

Have cleared browsing history

Contact Google Chrome customer service or find a Chrome user community to ask for help. All I can report is that I also use Chrome to send bulk emails via Gmail occasionally and everything was and is working fine with macOS Sonoma and now macOS Sequoia.

Thanks of course Google dealer did not want to know about it. Will try Google directly
