Yes....BUT, if someone else has iOS 18.1 and is recording your conversation, you should be notified the call is being recorded whether you have 18.1 on your phone or not.

Call recording is a feature that was added in iOS 18.1. So it is true. Unlike a lot of things you see on Xitter.
