Recovering Apple iPad purchase receipt for warranty repair in China

Good day! My mother bought herself a tablet about three years ago. Model A2324, Serial: G*********9L She made the purchase in the US. When she flew to Russia, the iPad stopped turning on. Since Apple is no longer in Russia, she had nowhere to go for repairs. At the moment she is in China and their Apple store said that the problem is in the display. And if she shows the receipt, they will do a warranty repair.

My question:

How can I restore the receipt confirming the purchase from Apple? I didn't find it in the email, and it wasn't saved physically.

Thank you very much for your reply. Best regards, Lilia.

At three years old, any Apple-warranty associated with the iPad will have long ago expired. Unless the retailer from whom the iPad was purchased is able to assist, nobody will be able to recover the receipt/sales-invoice.

Perhaps understand the Apple Support Community is a user-to-user technical forum. Contributors here are all end-users, just like you; we are not employed by or have any affiliation with Apple. Other than the site Moderators, Apple neither monitor nor participate here.

As such, if you hope to reach Apple through these forums, you will be disappointed.

Thank you for your quick response! I understand that, but we are hostages of the situation. When we bought an expensive tablet, we expected to be able to use it, but unfortunately, due to technical reasons beyond our control, it lay switched off for all three years and became cheaper in value. As a result, we now have an outdated tablet model and probably a large repair bill. Of course, we would have repaired it within the warranty period, but there was no such opportunity. Do you have an offer that would satisfy both parties?

That is not relevant. The warranty has expired. You will have to pay for service or replacement.
