I select text to proofread. The proof reader provides a corrected version of the text without identifying the corrections in the original. It is necessary to carefully compare the two to find the corrections, but that is impossible without copying the corrected text into a separate document. The corrected text blocks the ability to see the original and disappears when efforts are made to make both visible for comparison. On one trial, it did not catch all errors.
