IOS 18.1 Charge Limit not functioning

Plug in iPhone 15 pro max in my normal location at home. I don't have a set time I plug in my phone so I assume that the smart charging should not come into play. I have my phone set to 80% charge limit and have had it set for a year. I also had it set back on iOS 17. With the update to iOS 18.1 I have noticed that my phone keeps charging to 100%. I figured the first time was just a calibration, but it has done it a couple times after that.

I rechecked my settings and I still have a 80% charge limit. I want to report this as a possible bug.

Do you mean it never stops at the limit, or sometimes it goes to 100%? If it is only sometimes that is normal, because the battery management software needs to know what 100% is to keep the State of Charge display accurate.
