Downloaded music won’t play

I have been building an iTunes library since the first iPhone. Since updating to ios18 my music app will only play music that has NOT been downloaded. Anything that I have stored on my device will not play. I have a Tb of storage I would like to have all my music downloaded.

Why am I not able to play music local to my iPhone? I can only play cloud based music.

When I try to play a song it says it’s playing for about 5 seconds but does not actually produce any sound. Then it goes to pause and nothing I do can make it play.

This is quite honestly some BS Apple. Please fix this asap!!
