iPhone Calculator - IOS 18 Update

Hello!! Recent update to IOS 18 appears to have "broken" the calculator...or I am just doing something wrong.

Prior to the update, I could enter a value like 1000 and then multiply that by 1.1(to add 10% to the initial value. I could then keep hitting the equal sign and it would continue to multiply the new value by 1.1. That function appears to no longer work. Now, I have to type in 1000 x 1.1 =, that gives me 1100. Then I have to type in 1100 x 1.1 = 1210, etc., etc. Anybody else having this problem or am I the only one that does this? :-)
