Facetime lives photos are being taken in the wrong orientation(landscape not portrait)

Hey, ever since the new update i’ve been having this weird issue with facetime live photos where it’s taking the photos in the wrong orientation. Whenever I take facetime photos of people who have there cameras in portrait mode or stood up vertically it cuts a significant portion of the photo and saves it in landscape mode cutting off their face and what not which is annoying. Is their anybody who knows a fix for this or if apple is working on fixing the issue?

iPhone 14 Plus, iOS 18
