How to manage multiple payment methods on Apple Account?

We are in 2024 a life filled with A1 and tech intelligence that’s evolving everyday and Apple can’t create a multi-payment method for your single account so you can link different subscriptions to different payment methods for different services used by your Apple ID. Can someone please confirm if this option will be coming? I need my monthly payments for my Apple streaming services billed to my business credit card and my iCloud monthly subscription needs to be paid with my personal credit card. It’s crazy to think the only way to do this is to change the default card manually before each monthly bill is charged. Is this programming really that difficult?

Hi Ginajulia,

Apple currently doesn’t offer the option to assign different payment methods to specific services under a single Apple ID, as you mentioned. At this time, each Apple ID can only have one active payment method for all subscriptions and purchases, requiring you to manually update the payment method if you’d like to switch between cards for various services.

To stay updated on any future developments or announcements on this feature, you might want to check the Apple Support page regularly or consider sending feedback to Apple directly through their feedback form.

Thanks,

R.L.
