unable to verify account name or password Hotmail

Hi, it has been months that the MAIL app on my macbook pro is asking me for my hotmail password.

I put in the correct password but the error message shows "unable to verify account name or password"

I have tried multiple things described in the community, such as deleting completely the account etc but non works and still same message. It works well on ipad and iphone.

As of today, do we have a solution?
