My account still says 5gb despite upgrading to iCloud plus giving me 50gb
i have tried switching off and on and logging out of Apple ID and back in again.
strangely I did receive an email saying that my Apple account had been updated.
still nothing hours later storage still showing 5gb
what can I do now to resolve this please?

The billing cycle has to update first. SO lets say your cycle end november 3rd but you upgraded to 50gb october 21st u gotta wait until november 3rd for it to re cycle itself to the new payment. It might start november 21st if thats the day upgraded it.
Hello, thank you for your advice, that’s very helpful indeed. I didn’t realise there would be a potential delay and assumed it would immediately upgrade to give the extra storage. I will wait a week or so and see if anything changes during that time.
