How to change size of emojis in emoji picker?

Hi!

Does anyone know how to make the emojis smaller in the Emoji Picker? This thing 👇🏼

They used to be smaller and more tightly packed, but they've now been enlarged and spaced out, meaning it takes longer to find the one I want (I know, 1st world problem 😝).

The difference in size can be seen here:

Whilst I've found you can enlarge the whole picker window, and then change the size of the emojis in that window, this doesn't affect the smaller pop-up picker:

What I was saying is, you haven't been able to adjust the size in the small picker for 4+ years. And fwiw, hopefully you aren't still running a beta of Sequoia.

Correct. You can't change the size in the smaller picker.

It's a very minor issue, it was more just an annoyance ... you know how it is when something works just fine and you're used to using it, and then it changes for no reason ... it's rather annoying 😉
