Lost/Stolen iPhone and FindMy removal concerns

I lost my phone and reported it lost, apple sent a replacement for it. Now I am wondering what happens to my old device because I think that someone I know has it and I have removed it from find my and it says it will be removed on 1st dec which is 30 days from today. Will they be able to use my phone after it is completely removed from my FindMy?

Not sure what you mean by "use my phone". Whoever has the phone cannot access any of the data on the phone because it has been erased, but they can now set up the phone as their own.

So, you should contact the carrier that you were using and ask them to "blacklist" the phone so it cannot be set up with any carrier's service.
