Accessing WhatsApp Chat History
- Open WhatsApp: Launch the app on your device.
- Chat List: Scroll through your chat list to find the conversation you want to view.
- Search Function: Use the search function by tapping the chat icon and entering keywords to find specific messages.
Recovering Deleted WhatsApp Chat History
If you’ve deleted chats, you may be able to recover them depending on your backup settings:
For iPhone Users:
- Check iCloud Backup:
- Go to WhatsApp > Settings > Chats > Chat Backup.
- See the date of your last backup.
Imoportant notation: if you previously did not save your chats, it is not possible to return them back.
Of course, WhatApp saves chats during couple years, however they do not provide information about it to the common users. They can share information only for police or governmental workers.
