Inquiry About Device Activation Status and Warranty
Hello! I recently purchased an iPad from an authorized reseller, but I have several questions regarding the device:
1. When checking the activation date on the Apple website, I found that the device was activated on August 30. I bought it on November 2. Can you explain why the activation date does not match my purchase date? This raises concerns for me about whether the device is new and has not been previously used.
2. I noticed that I have AppleCare+ for this device, but the standard limited warranty is not displayed. Does the activation date correspond to the start of the AppleCare+ warranty?
3. The device has a zero battery cycle, which usually indicates that it hasn’t been used. Could the iPad have been activated earlier for demonstration purposes, and if so, what implications might that have?
4. The packaging of the device looked poor, although everything inside was sealed as new. This also raises questions for me about its status.
5. If it turns out that the device was activated earlier, is there a possibility for a return, as I have doubts about its new condition?
